The Postgraduate School Molecular Medicine organizes together with the bioinformatics dept. of the Erasmus MC and Ingenuity this two-day basic workshop: Basic data analysis on gene expression arrays.
Day 1 provides a basic understanding of the workflow required for the analysis of gene expression arrays (Illumina and Affymetrix). Day 2 will be an advanced Gene Expression Day, including extensive Ingenuity Pathway Analysis.
Audience The workshop is primarily organized for PhD students and postdocs of the Erasmus Postgraduate School Molecular Medicine, Nihes and MGC. The total number of participants is limited to 18, due to number of computers available.
Registration fee Registration fee for all is € 200,00. There is no discount for partial participating. PhD-students, postdocs and MSc students from outside the Erasmus MC receive a 50% discount and will be charged: € 100,00. Participants from the research schools MolMed and MGC receive a 100 % discount. (These are non-commercial fees; commercial fee upon inquiry.)
Duration Two days
Program The program features several short, concentrated presentations on various aspects of the data analysis, followed by interactive practical sessions behind the computers.
