The course:

The course: The course in virology is organised for PhD students, postDocs and medical microbiologists, who are invited to participate. During the course, national and international experts in the field of virology will present seminars. A reader including relevant literature will be made available at the start of the course. The venue will be Erasmus MC, Room Ae406

Topics:

Principles of Virology, viro-immunology, plant virology, invertebrate virology, principles of virology and diagnostics, pathogenesis of virus infections, animal virology and zoonoses, virus-host interactions, viral infections and mathematical modelling, genetic modification of viruses, Dutch National Vaccination program, antiviral treatment, tropical virus infections, clinical aspects of virus infections, laboratory diagnosis of virus infections, vaccination against virus infections.

Registration:

PhD students, post Docs and medical microbiologists are invited to register.
Registration is not possible anymore - this course is fully booked.
The number of people that can participate in this course is limited.
