Biological Interpretation of Gene Expression Data with ExPlainTM Analysis System
Introduction The aim of this Training is to give a basic and advanced introduction on data analyses performed with BIOBASE solutions. We will cover basic understanding and usage of BIOBASE Knowledge LibraryTM and ExPlainTM Analysis Systems. The training day will focus on biological interpretation of gene expression experiments including ad-hoc query, workflows, planning user-specific in silico analysis steps, disease – biomarker association studies, basic and advanced promoter analysis and signal transduction network analysis.
Audience The workshop is primarily organized for PhD students and postdocs of the Erasmus Postgraduate School Molecular Medicine, Nihes and MGC. Other participants are welcome as well, but need to pay a fee (see attached course program for details).
Program The program features several short, concentrated presentations on various aspects of the data analysis, followed by interactive practical sessions behind the computers.
Registration The total number of participants is limited to 9, due to number of computers available. When the workshop is fully booked, we put you on the waiting list and we will organize a second issue of the workshop soon afterwards.
