Training ‘Online meetings – how to make them more effective and keep the energy flowing’

Would you like to make your online meetings more dynamic? Do you want to know how to keep your participants engaged? In this training you will learn how to change the way you manage and handle meetings to make them more effective, interactive and fun.

For most of us, conversations and meetings with colleagues now take place online. Especially long back-to-back meetings can add to an already increased workload and reduce our productivity. As a consequence, online meetings can feel ineffective and exhausting, and leave us feeling disconnected from our colleagues and students. This training will help you to adapt the way you plan, structure and organize meetings to fit the new online context.

After this training you will:
-be able to plan, structure and organize online meetings to maximize effectiveness
-know how and when to set boundaries in regard to the number and intensity of online meetings
-know how to make you online meetings less boring and more fun
-know how to keep the other meeting participants engaged
-know how to maintain personal relationships despite physical distance
-have a toolkit of different online tools and strategies to make your online meetings more  interactive and dynamic
-have the skills to chair an online meeting and to manage discussions
-have checklists for organizing effective online meetings, incl. making an agenda and minutes and  etiquette during online meetings
-have more energy left for your other work activities
