The Erasmus Postgraduate school Molecular Medicine (Mol Med) is one of the fourteen postgraduate schools in the area of biomedical science in the Netherlands. Its mission is the stimulation of clinically oriented molecular biomedical research. Its core business is translational research. Mol Med’s two main activities are the organisation of education for postgraduate students, post docs and senior scientist, and the stimulation of cooperation between several departments with regards to translational research. The school has a tight cooperation with other Research Schools and the KNAW.
The schools main occupation is with the following four themes: Endocrinology, metabolism & ageing, Haematopoiesis, lymphopoiesis & immune regulation, Solid tumors and Infections & host response.
